Because the only cookie in use is strictly necessary for the site to function (keeping you signed in), it's set automatically and isn't something you can opt out of while staying logged in — declining it just means you'd need to log in again each visit. The notice banner exists for transparency, not because you're being asked to consent to something optional.
Controlling this yourself
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings at any time. Doing so will log you out.
- You can clear local storage for this site the same way; this will make the cookie notice reappear.
- Deleting your account (from the "My data" panel) ends your session and removes the underlying account data the session cookie points to.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or advertising technology, this page will be updated first, before it's added, and the effective date above will change to reflect it — along with the relevant consent mechanism required for that category at the time (e.g. an opt-in prompt for non-essential cookies, if applicable in your state).
